EDU Film Fest:

The Second Annual Horror High Film Camp: August 9th - 13th, 2021

EDU FILM FESTIVAL, ALONG WITH IPR INSTITUTE OF PRODUCTION AND RECORDING, AND METROPOLITAN STATE UNIVERSITY PRESENTS:

A FILMMAKING EXPERIENCE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

At Horror High Film Camp, you’ll learn the ins and outs of writing, producing, and directing a film. This day-camp is perfect for any high school student who not only loves watching film, but is dying to make one. You won’t be reading about making a film, you won’t be observing a film shoot, you will be a member of the crew, working with professional filmmakers and college students to shoot a short horror film in a professional facility, using professional gear, learning how a professional film crew operates.

THIS JUST IN: HORROR HIGH IS NOW AFFORDABLE FOR ALL MINNESOTA HIGH SCHOOL FILMMAKERS

With staffing support from the Minnesota State Arts Board Creative Support for Organizations Grant, combined with funds provided by our generous sponsors and donors, EDU will cover the majority of the registration fee for Horror High. This means that the fee has dropped to $100 per person for the week. This will include the 5-day on-set crew experience as well as lunch and craft services.

And, for anyone who demonstrates a need - the fee will be waived altogether. We're thrilled to be able to offer this experience at a price that is inclusive for all young people in Minnesota.
