From teens at the Horror High Film Camp to seasoned professionals, Mike is dedicated to fostering inclusive platforms that celebrate storytelling and strengthen the creative community.
Heather Kowalski – Board Member
Heather Kowalski brings a deep commitment to education, youth development, and inclusive creative spaces. Her work centers on supporting young people as whole humans, not just as students or creators. Within EDU Film Festival, Heather helps ensure that programming, outreach, and decision-making reflect care, accessibility, and emotional well-being, reinforcing the festival as a place where young filmmakers feel seen, supported, and encouraged to share their stories.
Harper Gorecki – Board Member
Harper Gorecki offers a vital youth-centered perspective grounded in lived experience, creativity, and advocacy. Vera Bianchini – Board Member
Vera Bianchini provides steady financial leadership rooted in clarity, transparency, and long-term sustainability. With a strong grasp of nonprofit finance and operations, she supports EDU Film Festival by ensuring responsible stewardship of resources as the organization grows. Trey Wodele is the Executive Director of the nonprofit Hearts and Hammers. A co-founder of the Northern Film Alliance and a seasoned educator with over 20 years in media education, Trey remains a trusted consultant and advocate for youth in digital arts.
